Magnus 'Stormin' Norman
Norman is probably the least well-remembered Swede to ever rise to #2 in the world. Probably because the ranking system back then was flawed and the #1 spot was a revolving door. Aside from that, Magnus did bag 12 titles and earn a lot of respect from Guga Kuerten along the way.
What are they doing now?: Coached Robin Soderling until last year. He is also part-owner, along with some Swedish NHL players, of a race-horse called “Days Go By,” which won a race in Sweden.
Career titles: 12
Win/Loss Record: 244/177
Career High Ranking: 2 (2000)
Finest moment: Reaching 2000 French Open final (l. Kuerten) and reaching world number 2.
