Joachim ‘Pim Pim’ Johansson
Named 2004 ATP Most Improved Player of Year, injury struck and after failed comebacks retired from the tour in 2008. He held the record for most aces served in one match as he aced Andre Agassi 51 times in the 4th round of the 2005 Australian Open (though he still lost the match in four sets). Johansson’s cameos mask the sad state of Swedish tennis, where their top player is Markus Eriksson, ranked 406th in the world.
What is he doing now? In and out of the tour every few years it seems.
