Charly Moya is one of the reasons Rafa Nadal plays tennis. Moya is an icon in Mallorca and was part of a dynamite generation of Spanish clay court specialists including Juan Carlos Ferrero and Alex Corretja.

He picked up the French Open title in 1998 beating his great friend Corretja in the final. Moya possessed one of the best forehands in the game with an economical and powerful serve. His other big guns he liked to show off with the sleeveless look.
